Firstly you will stop at Kruja which is closely related to the 25 years of activity of our national hero, Skanderbeg, who in the 15th century made Kruja a bastion of uncompromising resistance against the Ottoman. The Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg Museum is situated inside the castle walls, which date back to the fifth and sixth centuries A.D. then you will have free time to walk around The Old Bazaar of Kruja which dates to the 17th century.
After having the lunch, we continue our tour to the Albanian Capital Tirana. You will visit Skanderbeg square, situated in the very heart of Tirana. we visit Ethem Bey mosque which was founded at the end of 18th century by Mulla Bey, the Clock Tower -a cultural monument that has shown the time in Tirana since 1822.
The tour continues to National History museum, one of the most important museums in the country, contains a well-documented history of the country. After that we visit Tirana castle and The Tanners’ Bridge -an 18th century Ottoman stone footbridge. Then we walk to the pyramid, it is absolutely an important tourist attraction. As a symbol of a notorious communism, a symbol of the mixed and contradictory history of Tirana. It was inaugurated on October 14, 1988, as the mausoleum of the dictator, Enver Hoxha.
After that we continue our walking tour to the Postblloku (Checkpoint), the Memorial to Communist Isolation, commemorates the country’s political prisoners who suffered under the Hoxha regime. It is situated on the main boulevard opposite the government building. After that we will have a coffee break in Blloku quarter. Then you be transferred back to your hotel/ Cruise in Durres.

The journey to Berat takes about 90 minutes, once you reach your destination, you will visit the old ottoman Castle (The Kala, a castle mostly built in the 13th century, but with origins going back to the 4th century BC. A very beautiful place with great views of the surrounding area). Then we will visit the Holy Trinity Church, then Onufri Iconography Museum which located within the Kala at the site of a Dormition Cathedral, features the vivid iconography works of the famous 16th century painter Onufri and others.Our next stop will be at the Ethnographic Museum of Berat, It features traditional local furniture and house utensils.
The tour continues to explore the traditionally Muslim Mangalem quarter, in this quarter there are three grand mosques: the Sultan’s Mosque, the Lead Mosque and the Bachelors’ Mosque. as well you can walk along the promenade, and cross the Ottoman bridge to see the Gorica quarter. Lunch.
if we have time we will stop at Cobo wine factory to get acknowledged about the traditional old techniques of producing the local wine, you will have the chance to taste different kind of wine. then we drive back to hotel /Port.

The construction began under the emperor Trajan in the 2nd century AD and destroyed twice by earthquakes in the 6th and 10th centuries. It is the largest amphitheater ever built in the Balkan Peninsula with once having a capacity of 20,000 people. beside the amphitheater we will visit the ancient Castle, Byzantine Forum and Archaeological Museum. if we have enough time we will pass by the brandy factory in Durres, where you can have a unique chance for wine tasting. then we drive back to the cruise ship.
