This is an exciting tour that takes you to explore the Divjaka and Karavasta Lagoon Ecological Reserve. Discover one of the beautiful sites of Albania. A visit to Tirana and the Albanian Riviera is not complete without a visit Albania’s most important Natural Park of Divjaka and Karavasta lagoon. Enjoy a day full of gorgeous natural landscapes and wildlife. This piece of heaven offers amazing views. This ecological reserve contains an extraordinary diversity of natural landscapes, including sandy beaches, pine tree forests, island, and wetlands of the national park.
It takes about 90 minutes to reach the park, on the way we will pass by vast landscapes. Our first stop will be at the visitor’s center to get well acknowledged about the flora and fauna of the national park, then you ascend to the highest point of the observatory tower, up there you will have absolutely amazing panoramic view of the park and lagoon.
We will drive on the beach side till we reach the bird watching tower, luckily we may have the chance to watch the birds living in Karavasta lagoon like Dalmation Pelicans and flamingos etc….
After that we stop at the restaurant to have the lunch. Afternoon you will be given free time to relax on the beach or you can walk on the sandy island. At the end of the day we drive back to your hotel.
We may arrange a small boat ride to explore the natural beauty of the lagoon.

In 2008 Berat was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as it is a rare example of a well-preserved Ottoman town, Berat is one of the most ancient cities in Albania, and It is one of the country’s most beautiful towns, and known as the “town of a thousand windows”.
The journey to Berat takes about two hours, once you reach your destination, you will visit the old ottoman Castle (The Kala, a castle mostly built in the 13th century, but with origins going back to the 4th century BC. A very beautiful place with great views of the surrounding area). Then we will visit the Holy Trinity Church, then Onufri Iconography Museum which located within the Kala at the site of a Dormition Cathedral, features the vivid iconography works of the famous 16th century painter Onufri and others.Our next stop will be at the Ethnographic Museum of Berat, It features traditional local furniture and house utensils.

The tour continues to explore the traditionally Muslim Mangalem quarter, in this quarter there are three grand mosques: the Sultan’s Mosque, the Lead Mosque and the Bachelors’ Mosque. as well you can walk along the promenade, and cross the Ottoman bridge to see the Gorica quarter. Lunch.
Our last stop will be at Cobo wine factory to get acknowledged about the traditional old techniques of producing the local wine, you will have the chance to taste different kind of wine. then we drive back to hotel in Tirane.
